Channelate is a one-shot comic that started out based on a “Note To Self” kind of humor. The update schedule is fairly random and is drawn by Ryan Hudson.
Invisible Bread is a funny comic written and drawn by Justin Boyd. There is no storyline, just a bunch of one-shots and SQUIRRELS! Come see this random variety of stick figure hilarity.
Lit Brick is a comic about literature, which should probably be fairly obvious. It originated as part of an effort to read the entire Norton Anthology of English Literature, which your humble author still had lying around the house after earning his BA in English. The comic currently updates somewhat haphazardly, whenever I find time between other comic projects.
Despite the random nature of the comic, there are still recurring characters, including Death and She-Jesus. Most of the stories were taken from the aforementioned anthology, but there were some that were submitted by the readers. This comic is made by John Troutman.
Mary Elizabeth’s Sock is a comic adventure about a girl and her pet private eye, both of whom are quite possibly insane. It’s something of an anthology series, following several different – but vaguely related – people, as they find themselves in increasingly absurd situations. A different group of characters is given the spotlight every two weeks, though eventually it stands to reason that – one day – each group will collide with one another. The comic was created by John S. Troutman.
John Troutman is a very prolific webcomic author, publishing at least three different comics at the same time. If you read multiple Troutman comics, you might notice some overlapping characters, but that doesn’t mean the you’ve missed any story.
A Comic, Parody, and Science Fictiony Adventure. Went through a reboot in 2008, now updates on Saturdays. Follows the life of Zortic, a guy who has spent most of his life escaped into the strange entertainment of an alien world called Earth. Join him, his crew, and his ship as they Boldly Go Where No One Has Gone Before.
Sluggy Freelance is a more or less daily webcomic that has been running for 14 years. Almost 15, actually. Like nearly every long-running webcomic, the art has undergone many improvements. The comic is about two guys, Torg and Riff, who get involved in magic, demons, aliens, and dimensional portals. It runs the gamut from goofy to serious, with love, hate, and many, many recaps.

A strange comic about a group of teenagers and the bizarre, often supernatural, situations that they face. Includes a continuing storyline with non-linear joke comics on the side. WARNING: Often ignores the laws of Physics.
The first ever webcomic I read. The art at the beginning isn’t very good, but it improves and the stories are good pretty much the entire time.
